This 24 hour CILA program offers individuals with developmental disabilities of all IQ ranges the opportunity to live in the least restrictive environment (determined by their needs), centers on living a family-style atmosphere, quality basic care, community involvement, and promotes choice, normalization, and human rights.

Clients at American Residential Care CILA homes are encouraged to express and explore their interests, hopes, dreams, and hobbies. Whether it be, how to decorate their bedroom, where to go in the community, what show to watch, or most importantly what skills to learn and domestic skills training opportunities are bountiful.. American Residential Care takes pride in hiring the best candidates to provide quality direct care. All new Direct Support Personnel are carefully interviewed, screened, and trained by our professional certified staff. All staff are 18 years and older, with a high school diploma or College, and must pass a criminal background check. Daily supervision, monthly, meetings, and on the spot (JUST IN TIME TRAINING) is practiced to keep our staff knowledgeable, supportive, and developing.

American Residential Care CILA homes also provides and manages all medical, psychiatric, dental, annual/bi-annual reviews, medications, nursing staff, off site vocational training, transportation, Medicaid, food stamp applications, recreational activities (see our EVENTS site), Medicaire, Social Security issues, and etc.
